Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant with a manufacturing partner of ours in the Golden Valley area!

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee month-end and year-end close, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, identifying variances and trends for management
- Manage accruals, amortization, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing accurate financial data and analysis
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ensure effective internal controls and improve accounting processes and documentation
- Supervise or mentor staff accountants and AP/AR team members, as needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience in audit support or public accounting preferred
- CPA or CPA-eligible status a plus
